Zeno, Your Defense Against Acne

When treating acne there are many things you can use, from medications to supplements to a new hand-held device that sends heat directly to the pimple. Zeno is a hand-held battery-operated device with a tip that heats up to a pre-set temperature.

The tip is designed to be placed directly on the pimple, then transfer heat into the follicle. How Zeno Works

Using Zeno

Since Zeno is battery operated it will not work while plugged into the charging unit. You start Zeno by pressing the power button, which causes the internal microprocessor to start it's diagnostic sequence. Once the treatment tip reaches it's pre-set temperature a beep will sound and the Treatment Activation Button turns to green indicating the device is ready.

To start using Zeno, follow these steps:

• Press the Treatment Activation Button, the light will turn green and a timing circuit will start.
• Next place the tip on top of the zit, during treatment a tone will sound every 30 seconds to let you know treatment is in process. The sensor adapts to the specific skin type by adjusting the flow of energy to match the heat absorption rate of the user and the location of the pimple.
• When treatment is complete a beep will sound to let you know it is finished.

When you are finished treating a blemish you can move on to the next one or turn the unit off. After treating one pimple Zeno goes into a 10 second Safety Mode and then it is ready to use again by a flashing green light and a ready tone. If you want to use it on another zit just hit the Treatment button or if you are finished just press the Power button. If you forget to turn it off the device will turn off itself after 35 seconds of inactivity.

General Maintenance

Zeno has a data information panel that tells the user when the battery needs to be changed and when the treatment tip needs to be replaced. Each tip is programmed to deliver a certain number of treatment cycles. The batteries are rechargeable so the device is designed for years of use. Zeno is a great product to use when treating acne.
