Airzene Research:

Vitamin C- Data that was collected from the Second National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey revealed that Vitamin C serum levels were associated with compromised respiratory health (1). Vitamin C assists breathing, due to its ability to metabolize and detoxify. (2)

Zinc- Low zinc levels have been found in patients with compromised respiratory health. Results have shown that supplementing zinc into your diet results with improvements to general health. (3)

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine- This agent has been found to be useful when administered to those with compromised respiratory health. Several studies indicate a significant reduction in the number of acute exacerbations each month while also lowering the number of days spent addressing symptoms. (4, 5).

Licorice (root)- Licorice can provide many benefits. It has been shown to support antiviral activity, support the stress response, as well as inflammatory response. (6, 7, 8)

Cordyceps- Traditionally used for improving respiration and helping individuals with decreased lung function. It does this by increasing oxygenation (improving VO2 max by 9-15%). (9)

Astragalus- Promotes regeneration of cells in the bronchi.

Echinacea Purpurea- Has been shown to strengthen the immune system (10). Echinacea can effectively help with upper respiratory tract infections (11).

Citrus Aurantium- Helps absorb Vitamin C - making it beneficial for respiratory health and a wide variety of other common health conditions.
