Daily Dosage:As a dietary supplement, take one capsule in the morning and one capsule in the evening with 8 ounces of water. 45-60 days of continuous use is necessary for optimum results.
Magnesium-One study used magnesium to see if it could be helpful with edema in premenstrual women. The women participating reported a more significant reduction in swelling, weight gain, and bloating compared to the women taking placebo. (1)

According to a 2008 study conducted by German researchers and published in the Journal of Agriculture and Food Chemistry, hawthorne berry may be an effective remedy for edema. In this study, rats were fed an equivalent of 200mg/kg of body weight. At the end of the study period, all rats taking hawthorne supplements saw a 50 percent reduction in paw edema. (6)
