Affecting 9-10% of children, and 3-5% of the population as a whole, ADHD is the fastest growing behavioral disorder in the United States. Despite its prevalence, however, this condition remains largely misunderstood. Specialist suspect that upwards of 85% of adults suffering from ADHD and 1/2 of the pediatric populous remain undiagnosed. Why?
ADHD is commonly attributed to other factors such as stress in adults or a normal pattern of hyperactivity in a child. However, if you've known anyone who suffers from this condition, or are faced with this challenging disorder on a daily basis, you know how uniquely devastating this disorder can be.
ADHD can wreak havoc on school, work, and normal day-to-day activities; adversely impacting the relationships between the sufferer and his/her family members. What's more, the symptoms associated with this condition (i.e. difficulty concentrating, inability to finish a given project, procrastination) can become personality traits that can carry far beyond puberty and into adulthood.
So what can you do if no 'quick fix' or cure exists for this condition?
With the advent of potent nutraceuticals like Listol, you can now control the key lifestyle factors that can help you effectively manage the condition - regardless of age, regardless of sex, and regardless of your current treatment regimen.

ADHD, Defined:
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or attention deficit disorder (ADD) with exhibited hyperactivity, is the name given to a group of chronic disorders. These disorders are coupled with specific mechanisms within the central nervous system (CNS) and include; inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsive behavior. ADHD is often labeled a 'neurobehavioral' disorder and its symptoms can last a lifetime.
There have been many names given to this condition, other than ADHD, which can make the ability to define the criteria needed to accurately diagnose this condition, or to differentiate between ADD and ADHD, a difficult undertaking. However, there are three categories of ADHD defined by the American Psychiatric Association:
- ADHD inattentive
- ADHD hyperactive-impulse, and
- A combination of the two (ADHD inattentive combined with ADHD hyperactive-impulse)
To further simplify matters, ADD can be described as the inattentive form of attention deficit disorder without hyperactivity. The diagnosis of ADHD is usually reserved for the hyperactive-impulsive and combined forms of the condition.
Causes:
Scientists believe that certain structural changes in the brain are the primary cause of ADHD. Research has also uncovered other factors not related to brain chemistry that may play a significant role, as well. These include, but are not limited to; altered brain function, heredity, diet, maternal smoking, exposure to toxins (including childhood), and drug use.
- Altered brain function - Certain chemical imbalances and disruptions in the neural pathways responsible for messaging relating to attention, movement, and motivation, are considered contributing factors to ADHD.
- Heredity - One in four with ADHD will also have another family member who suffers from the condition.
- Diet - Many individuals with ADD and ADHD react to the preservatives, dyes, and salicylates found in common foods. Food additives and a low protein diet are also thought to play a significant role in hyperactivity.
Signs and Symptoms:
ADHD can be characterized by one (or in some combination) of the following symptoms:
- Tendency to disturb others (especially in children)
- Tendency to become frustrated easily
- Problems adapting to new activities/emotions
- Self-limiting and self-destructive behavior
- Difficulty accomplishing tasks (e.g. homework, work, etc.)
- Temper tantrums or extreme mood swings
- Impatience/difficulty waiting
- Reduced tolerance for normal stressors (environmental or emotional)
- Easily frustrated
- Over activity and the inability to sit still for any length of time
- Impulsiveness and daring behavior
- Awkwardness when performing physical activities
- Clumsiness
- Extremely talkative
- Failure in work or school, despite average or above-average intelligence
Conventional Treatments:
To date, it seems the most effective treatment protocols employ a multi-treatment approach (i.e. combination therapies). However, ADHD treatment continues to be a topic of intense debate. Many prescription medications produce unwanted and counterproductive side effects. Additionally, behavioral modifications do not work for all sufferers. Nonetheless, the most common treatment methods remain:
Behavioral Therapy: This may include counseling as well, and is performed under the guidance of a psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker, or other health care professional. Counseling therapies include behavior therapy, family therapy, psychotherapy, parenting skills training, and social skills training.
Medications: Psychostimulants and antidepressants are the primary drugs used to treat ADHD. Although these drugs may provide some relief of the core symptoms (e.g. inattention and hyperactivity) they fail to correct individual coping mechanisms or conflict at home and in the classroom. What's more, these medications are notorious for producing unwanted side effects in both children and adults. Decreased appetite, corresponding weight loss, nervousness, and problems sleeping are often reported are normal reactions.
Experimental Therapies: Biofeedback and Brainwave biofeedback techniques are two therapies that have evolved as potential ADHD treatments. In each form of biofeedback training, patients learn to control their stress and hyperactivity levels by manipulating brain wave patterns and body responses. However, these approaches are considered unproven and their effectiveness has not been clearly established.
Listol is a safe and natural formula that has been engineered to support the function of your Central Nervous System (CNS). By neutralizing nutrient deficiencies known to influence ADHD onset, as well as helping the body balance neurotransmitter production, Listol works to keep Your ADHD symptoms in remission.
How Listol Works:
Listol has been created as a non-toxic alternative to commonly prescribed medicines for attention deficit treatment. Progressive Health's new formula employs the use of time-tested botanicals, amino acids, potent neurotransmitter precursors, and specific vitamins and minerals, to lessen the various physiological problems commonly occurring in ADHD sufferers.
By providing the body with an influx of these clinically evaluated ingredients, Listol addresses the many nutrient deficiencies known to aggravate and promote the onset of the condition, while effectively complementing the body’s natural calming and balancing agents (i.e. neurotransmitters).
This increases focus and attention spans, thereby helping sufferers minimize the mental exhaustion that is so common when performing mental activity. What's more, those with ADHD can find solace knowing that this all natural supplement is without side effects as it is non-toxic.
A startling fact remains: many doctors fail to tell patients that the pharmaceuticals used to treat ADHD can actually retard neural growth pattering and neural regenerating capacity. By taking Listol, your cognitive health and activity is supported and the overall information processing and attentiveness of the brain are never compromised. Listol is guaranteed to put an end to the cognitive limitations placed upon you or your loved ones by ADHD.

Dear Progressive Health,
I have been taking Listol for quite some time and it has helped with my ADHD problems very much. I wouldn't be without it. Thank you for the information you sent me on ADD/ADHD. I have read 4-5 books written by physicians on it and am finally glad to be in control over it.
I found out I had ADD/ADHD when in my late 50s. I am now 65-1/2 and feel Listol is much better for me than the drugs I was put on in the beginning. Ritalin and Dexedrine both made me jumpy and Ritalin didn't work after a while. Welbutrin made me dizzy and nauseous when I tried it the first time, so I stopped taking it immediately. The Listol is wonderful. No side effects, and it really helps me focus.
Sincerely, Judy Brown
My six year old son has been taking the new formula for four months. Combined with many changes to his diet, the Listol has been very effective in helping him to focus. All his behaviors are less extreme.

Listol is amazing and works wonders for my 6 year old son.
Thanks, Cortney Ortiz
I am a different person at work now. I can now focus enough to work during the heavy business hours instead of coming in super early or staying really late to accomplish my tasks.

We've been giving Listol to our two sons for about 2 months now. The older boy has been on it for about three months. We took him off of Adderal because of loss of appetite and sleeplessness. The Listol has helped with that and has helped somewhat with his ability to concentrate. We have seen some improvement in the things he was put on Adderal for in the first place. His younger brother has been diagnosed with a sensory problem and was constantly moving and talking loudly.
We decided to put him on the Listol after we saw some improvement in his older brother and have seen a much greater improvement in him! The hyperness is about 50% better and he has been able to concentrate during his early morning lessons (both boys are home schooled).
Thanks, Debbie Micoley
We started using Listol in September, 2006. I bought just 1 month supply to try it out with my son, who is 5 and has ADHD. I noticed after about 3 weeks that there was a difference in my son's behavior, calmer and more attentive. I wasn't 100% sure if it was the vitamin or just more structure due to school starting. Well, we ran out and within a few days, he was showing signs of out of control behavior, not listening, and wasn't calm anymore. I immediately went on line and ordered 3 month supply and started back up. He is back to being a calmer, happier, and more in control child. I can't say enough about this product and it did prove to me that it works.
Thank you!! Donna Long
My son has ADHD and tourettes syndrome related eye blinking disorder. The LISTOL controls it 100%....................God Bless Listol!
