Oxy 17 Research:

Magnesium - Asthma attacks occur when there is increased contraction in smooth muscle. Magnesium helps to regulate smooth muscle contraction and relaxation. Studies have shown there is a link between bronchial reactivity and the amount of magnesium that is in these tissues. (2)

L-Glutamine - Glutamine controls inflammation in the gut wall, which makes it less leaky - protecting it from toxins and allergens. (3)

Cordyceps - Traditionally used to help with asthma and bronchitis by improving respiration through an increase in oxygenation. (5)

Noni Ext. - May stimulate a number of immune functions to promote a healthy body. (8)

Coleus Forskohlin - May have anti-asthmatic effects. (6)

Grape Seed Ext. - This extract contains bioflavonoid-like ingredients called "proanthocyanidins (PCOs)." These PCOs have been reported to inhibit the release of histamines, prostaglandins, and other inflammatory chemicals. (7)

Vitamin B6 - Theophylline drugs are often given to those people who have asthma. Reports show that these drugs can cause Vitamin B6 deficiencies, so supplementing this Vitamin into your diet may be helpful.

Vitamin B12 - May be effective in reducing wheezing and improving breathing upon exertion. (1)

Vitamin C - It has been shown to reduce reactivity in the lungs when contacted by allergens, improves the function and mobility of white blood cells, and decreases respiratory infections. (4)
